sweet potato casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 cans sweet potatoes
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted and divided
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 / cup crushed cornflake crumbs (crush in a bag)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix potatoes, eggs , 1/2 of the butter, sugar and milk. Pour into casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes for a double recipe. Mix the remaining ingredients, (including the remaining butter.
Spread on the casserole and bake an additional 10 minutes.
