Ingredients
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda (dissolved in pulp)
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg
- dash of salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the sugar and shortening. Add raisins and nuts to flour. Beat egg and add to pulp; add to sugar mixture. Add raisin and nut mixture last. Drop on greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees.
