Fish Burgers

These were really tasty but very dry & they didn't stick together like burgers. We ended up with just a plate of this concoction instead of actual burgers.

We need to probably add more egg or some other liquid but the flavor was definitely good enough to try to figure out.

Ingredients

  • 240 g drained canned tuna
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • additional ingredients to make patties stick together??

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Form mixture into four equal patties. Heat oil in fry pan & heat until hot. Cook tuna patties 8 - 10 minutes, turning once.
