Brussel Sprouts and Basil Bowties

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds chopped, sliced veggies--1/2 pound onions, 1/2 pound mushrooms, 1/2 pound brussel sprouts
  • 1 t. finely chopped rosemary
  • 1 pound cooked bowtie pasta
  • 1/4 c. Aged Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • Garnishes to taste..fresh basil, lemon juice, black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

These instructions
In deep 12" skillet, heat olive oil and garlic on medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring.
Add salt and veggies
Cook 5 minutes or until almost tender, stirring.
Add fresh Herbs, cook 2-3 minutes or until wilted.
Toss with 1/2 c. pasta cooking water, pasta and cheese.
Add garnish
