GARLIC PARMESAN FETTUCINNE

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, room temp
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley or 3 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 5 cloves garlic or 1 1/2 cloves Elephant garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temp
  • 1 tsp dried basil or 2 tsp fresh chopped basil
  • 2/3 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 oz. fettuccine, cooked and drained

Preparation

Step 1

Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup butter (room temp) together. Add parsley, basil and pepper; mix well. Stir in boiling water, followed by 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Saute garlic in 1/4 cup butter until tender. Combine garlic and warm noodles. Add cream cheese mixture; toss, Top with remaining Parmesan.
