Yogurt Buns/Strawberry Shortcakes

Ingredients

  • For Strawberry Shortcakes:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tbsps. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 plain yogurt(125 g)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • strawberries
  • whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients together. Combine yogurt and milk. Stir in dry ingredients until well blended. Knead 5 times on a floured surface. Roll to 1/2" thick. Cut into biscuits. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400F for about 15 minutes.
Strawberry Shortcakes: When cool split. Fill and top with strawberries. Then top with whipped cream
