Gooey Lemon Bars

Ingredients

• Crust:
• 1 box Lemon Cake Mix
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 egg
• Filling:
• 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 2 cups powder sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, and egg. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and eggs with a hand mixer. Beat until fluffy. Pour over crust. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely and refrigerate for 4 hours for best flavor.
