Easy Chicken and Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut up
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounces)
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, etc.)
  • 2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
  • 2-3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken until browned. Set chicken aside. Add soup, water, garlic powder and vegetables. Heat to a boil. If using fresh vegetables, cook for about 3 minutes. If using frozen vegetables, cook for about 5 minutes. Add noodles. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often. Return chicken to pan. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until noodles are done, stirring often. Remove from heat. Add parmesan cheese and stir well to melt cheese. Serve immediately.
