Maple spiced kettle corn

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp veg oil
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp popcorn kernels
  • 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple sugar
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat a large pot over medium. Add oil and popcorn kernels. After only a few kernels have popped, add powdered sugar, and cook until popping stops. Add maple sugar and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 seconds, stir to coat. Transfer to a bowl, season with salt and pepper.
