Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 onions, sliced
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 teaspoons of beef base
  • 7 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup sherry

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions and sugar and nutmeg. Cook until transparent, add beef broth, water and salt. Add sherry and cook for 20 minutes.
