Beef and Bean Casserole

A delicious way to serve baked beans. Great for when you have to take something to a picnic or BBQ.

Recipe from "Indiana Cookbook"

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 -2 pound can pork 'n beans
  • Bacon slices, cooked, drained

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat and drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Put it into a casserole dish and top with the bacon slices.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min. and serve.
