Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • In a bowl. Mix together
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. each baking soda and salt. Stir in 1 cup sour cream.
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter.

Preparation

Step 1

Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 425deg. For 20 minutes or until a pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut in 16 squares. Best served warm
