Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 T margarine
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t dry mustard
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs
  • paprika

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat and blend in flour, salt and mustard. Add milk. Heat, stirring constantly until thick. Add 1 1/2 cups cheese and heat until melted. Combine cooked macaroni with sauce in 2 quart casserole. Top with remaining cheese, bread crumbs and paprika. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes.
