Ingredients
- 2 pounds shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large onion
- 1 (8oz) cream cheese, softened
- Mayo if needed
- Red or white pepper (black does not look well with this)
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and cook shrimp. After cooking process shrimp in large food processor. Remove shrimp and process onion with some of the saute butter; add cream cheese, if mixture is too thick moisten with mayo to the consistency that you like. Season with salt, white pepper and red pepper. (I put a lot)
If you refrigerate this you may need to add more mayo, it stiffens when cold.
Serve with crackers.
