Ingredients
- 3/4 lb onions halved then thinly sliced
- 32 oz beef broth
- 4 slices French bread
- 2 C swiss cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter saute' onion. Pour broth on top.
Reduce heat,simmer til hot.
Toast the bread in oven. Place soup in oven proof bowl. Take a piece of toasted bread, place on top of soup, then a slice of cheese over the top. Bake in oven til well melted and enjoy.
