POTATO YEAST ROLLS

350°, 15-20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons yeast (mix with 1/2 c. warm water, pinch of sugar, pinch of flour and T. milk
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Scald milk. Add sugar, butter, salt and potatoes. Cool and add two eggs beaten and yeast mixture. Work in 5 cups bread flour (if needed, add flour until consistency is not sticky). Form and let rise.
