Ingredients
- 1 T butter
- 1 T oil oil
- 3 large onions
- 2 gloves garlic
- 4 C beef broth
- 1/2 C white wine
- 1 T worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
slice onions thin and in saucepan sautee onions and garlic in butter and oil until soft, about 25 min. Add other ingredients and simmer 15 min. covered.
Place soup in bowls and add slice french bread and slice swiss cheese. Broil under broiler until cheese is melted
