Ingredients
- Lemon Blueberry Bread
- 1/3 cup butter – melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 T lemon juice
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 T grated lemon peel
- 1 cup blueberries
Preparation
Step 1
Glaze: 2 T lemon juice & ¼ Cup sugar
Beat butter, sugar, juice & eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, salt. Stir into egg mixture alternately with milk. Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, meanwhile combine glaze ingredients. Remove the bread from pan & drizzle glaze over bread.
