Ingredients
- 4 Medium/Large Artichokes
- Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic (grated)
- 1/4 Tsp. Salt
- 1/4 Tsp. Pepper
- 1 Cup Grated Pecorino
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Parsley
- 3 Cups Breadcrumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Trim artichokes and remove the stems. Separate the leaves.
In a bowl, put breadcrumbs, garlic salt, pepper, pecorino and parsley. Mix together. Drizzle with olive oil in mixture to dampen. Stuff the crumb mixture between each leave. Place the artichokes in upright in a steamer basket over simmering water. Drizzle a little olive oil on top of each. Cover and steam over medium to low heat for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Until tender. Add more water if necessary.
