Asian Coconut Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups coconut milk
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked jasmine rice

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a saucepan, combine rice, coconut milk, water, sugar and salt.

2. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cover and simmer 18 - 20 minutes until rice is tender.
