Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 quart fresh strawberries cut in half
- 1 9 inch pie crust baked
Preparation
Step 1
Bring 1 1/2 cups water and sugar to a boil in saucepan. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Stir in mixture of cornstarch, salt and 1/2 cup cold water. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool completely.
Place strawberries in pie shell. Spoon cooled glaze over strawberries. Chill for 2 hours.
