Lemon Pie

Ingredients

  • Bake favorite crust recipe or bake one frozen
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 rounded tsp. flour
  • 1 lemon

Preparation

Step 1

Beat yolks of the eggs and add 1/2 c. of the sugar to which the flour has been added. Add grated rind and juice of the lemon and cook in double broiler until thick, stirring constantly.

Beat whites of eggs and fold in 1/2 c. sugar. Take 1/2 of this mixture and add to the lemon mixture. Use the other half for the merinque. Bake in 350 oven until brown.
