Stir-Fried Pork with Ginger, Red Pepper & Raisins

You can use chicken in place of pork if perfered

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
  • 4 pork loin chops, cut into thin strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) snow peas
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) sesame oil

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the oil in a large saute pan or wok. Brown the pork for 2-4 minutes.

Add the garlic, ginger, raisins, red pepper, snow peas, and half the green onions. Continue to saute for another 4 minutes.

Make a hole in the center of the vegetables and pork and add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Add the remaining green onions.
