Ingredients
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1-1/2 pounds medium shrimp shelled and deveined
Preparation
Step 1
Mix peanut butter and 5 tablespoons soy sauce in saucepan. Blend in remaining soy sauce, sugar, oil and water; heat to dissolve sugar. Thread shrimp on a skewer (I use metal ones and I put them in the canola oil bottle while I am taking the tails off the shrimp); brush with peanut sauce. Grill shrimp, on covered grill, over medium-hot coals 5 to 6 minutes or until shrimp turn pink; turning once. Brush shrimp with peanut sauce before serving.
