Chicken noodle soup

Ingredients

  • 2 T unsalted butter
  • 2 T extra virgin oil
  • 1 onion ,peeled and diced
  • 4 carrots ,peeled and small diced
  • 4 celery stocks
  • 1 t garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt,pepper
  • 2 qts chicken broth
  • 3 c cooked chicken
  • 2 cups wide noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In large pot, sauté onion,butter and olive oil.add celery,carrots,garlic and bay leaves. Cook until veggies are soften. Add stock and simmer x 10 min. Stir in chicken and noodles- about 10 more minutes. Discard bay leaves.
