Ingredients
- 4-6 slices bacon
- 1.5 lbs. Brussels sprouts
- 14 ounces of chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Trim Brussels sprouts and cut in half Cut bacon into pieces and sauté until crispy (pour fat off if desired) Put chicken broth in a pot and bring to a boil Stir in the brown sugar and salt Add the Brussels sprouts and cover the pot Cook Brussels sprouts for 5-10 minutes until tender Remove Brussels sprouts and place in a serving dish Top the dish with butter and add the crumbled bacon
