Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash black pepper
- 3 cups shredded red or green cabbage
- 3/4 cup chopped apple
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large skillet combine brown sugar, vinegar, water, oil, caraway seeds, sale and pepper. Cooke for 2 to 3 minutes or until hot and brown sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
2. Stir in the cabbage and apple. Cook, covered, over medium-low heat about 5 minutes or until cabbage is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Serve with a slotted spoon.
