Ingredients
- 2 ( 4 oz. pork loin chops thick.)
- 2 teas. seasoning salt
- 1 teas. pepper
- 1 Tables. olive oil
- 1 large onion (1 pd.) sliced thin
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 slices swiss cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1, Rub pork chops with seasoning salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a a very large skillet ( that has a lid ) over medium-high heat until it simmers. Brown pork chops turning once, 4 minutes on each side.Add onion and chicken broth. Reduce heat and simmer covered 20 minutes . Turn chops over and cover and simmer 15-20 minutes more until tender. ;Lay a slice of swiss cheer on chops and heat just until cheese starts to melt. Transfer pork chops to platter.
3.Increase heat to medium-high and cook onion mixture until liquid has almost evaporates,stirring frequently, until onion is golden.Divide among pork chops.
