Ingredients
- 12 Cups finely shredded Cabbage
- 4 Shredded Carrots
- 2 grated Onions
- 2 small grated Green Peppers
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Mustard Seed
- 2 tsp. Celery Seed
- 1 1/4 Cup Salad Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Mix and let set for one hour.
Make a syrup of 2/3 Cup Vinegar, 2/3 Cup Water, 2 Cups Sugar. Boil together and stir in 6 oz. lemon Jello. Cool. After it’s cool, mix with cabbage mixture and freeze in one big or smaller separate containers (or freezer bags). It will keep in refrigerator for several days and freezer for about 6 months.
