Pineapple Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, undrained
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

1) In a lrg bowl, beat the cake mix, egg whites and apple sauce on low speed for 2 mins. Pour into a 13x9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.

2) Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 - 30 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

3) In a bowl, combine the pineapple and pudding mix. Fold in whipped topping just until blended. Spread over cake. Refrigerate for at least 1 hr before serving.
