Ingredients
- 6 large ears of fresh corn, yellow, white or combo
- 3 Tbsp bacon grease
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Remove kernels from corn with a sharp knife. Put bacon grease in a 10 inch skillet and heat. Combine corn, flour, sugar, milk, and water. Add corn mixture to hot grease. When mixture is hot, add butter, salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until corn is tender.
