Step 1
in medium sauté pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp canola oil, then add 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger and sauté 2-3 minutes, then add 1 tbsp minced garlic and cook for one minute and add ¼ c soy sauce, 1 oz hot chili garlic sauce, ¼ c rice wine vinegar, 2 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp minn or white wine, ½ tsp sesame oil and 1 tsp chopped fresh cilantro. Add cooked green beans to this sauce. Can toss with peanuts and parsley when done. We tried this 12/09 and the reciepe actually called for beans to be fried in canola oil which I tried and it was ok, but no need to. So in future just cook in boiling water. The sauce was awesome and would be good on chicken. Also, I did not use the ginger as Jackie doesn’t like it.
