Hot and Peppery Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • Half a stick of butter
  • 14 1/4 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco or to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter. Add tomatoes, pepper and tabasco. Turn heat to high and cook sauce until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Add parmesan cheese when tossing sauce with pasta.

***You can use 3 large ripe tomatoes if you don't want to use canned tomatoes and sauce. You can also add a spoonful of Philly cream cheese to the sauce when cooking.
