nutty coconut granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked regular oats
  • 1/2 c flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c whole natural almonds
  • 1/4 c regular or honey crunch wheat germ
  • 1/4 sunflower kernels
  • 1/4 c plus 2 T honey
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3/4 c raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven 350'.
2. Stir together oats, coconut, almonds, wheat germ, sunflower kernels
3. Combine honey and oil, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour over oat mixture and stir well.
4. Spread entire mixture onto lightly greased jelly roll pan.
5. Bake at 350' for 25 minutes or until golden. Stirring every 5 minutes.
6. Cool. Stir in raisins. Store in airtight container up to 1 1/2 months.
