Pear Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 Large Pears (about 2 1/2 lbs.), peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Warm Water
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbs. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 Cups (2 1/2 Sticks) Butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine pears, water and lemon juice in an 8" square baking dish. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and stir to make a crumbly mixture. Spread the topping evenly over sliced pears. bake 45 to 55 minutes or until the topping is crisp and browned.
