Ingredients
- Boil 1 minute and then drain; then add:
- 1 peck green tomatoes (10 lbs.)
- 1 quart onions
- 3 green peppers
- 3 red peppers
- 1 cup salt
- Chop above ingredients, add salt and let stand overnight, then drain.
- Add equal parts of water and vinegar to cover (approx 1 1/2 qt. each).
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1/2 t. allspice
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. cloves
- Boil 20 minutes. While hot-pack into sterile jars and seal. Boil until they pop.
