Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 5 oz. pkg. dried cranberries--optional
- 2/3 cup white or semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 375. Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mix well. In a separate bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture in several additions. stir in dried cranberries and chocolate. drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto unto ungreased cookie sheets. bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Makes approximately 2/12 dozen cookies.
