Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 1/3 C. quick tapioca
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 C. rhubarb, cut into 1/2” pieces
- 3 C. strawberries, sliced
- 1 T. butter
- 2 crust pie shells
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar, tapioca, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg. Gently toss with fruit. Place one crust into deep dish pie plate. Pour in filling. Dab butter slices on top. Place second crust on top. Cut slits in top. Bake for 55 minutes.
