Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 1 unbaked 9 inche pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine sugar, tapioca, salt and nutmeg. Add rhubarb and strawberries. Mix to coat fruit, let stand 20 minutes.

Line pie plate with pastry. Fill with mixture, dot with butter. Bake 35-40 minutes.
