Ingredients
- KUGEL:
- 3/4 (16-ounce) bag medium egg noodles, cooked to al dente
- 1 stick butter, plus more for greasing
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup apricot nectar juice
- 4 eggs
- TOPPING:
- 6 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together 1 stick of butter, cream cheese, sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Add milk and nectar, slowly, while stirring.
Place cooked noodles in a 9x13-inch greased baking pan. Pour mixture over noodles, gently sir to blend.
Combine cornflakes, 1 stick of butter, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of sugar together in a separate bowl, and sprinkle over top of noodles. Bake at 350°F, for 45 minutes. Let cool a bit, then cut into squares
