Spinach stratta

Ingredients

  • 10 eggs
  • 3 c whole milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 16 c cubed baguette
  • 10 oz pack frozen spinach,thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 c grated gruyere
  • 1/2 c chopped fresh dill
  • 2 minced shallots

Preparation

Step 1

1) whisk eggs and milk; add seasoning. stir in remaining ingredients

2) transfer to a buttered 3qt baking dish. cover and refrigerate overnight

3) bake 350 til set, about 1 hour
