Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cups of rhubarb cut into small pieces
  • 1 plain pastry

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour and sugar together, add egg, beat thoroughly and add rhubarb. Let stand while making pastry. Line pan with pastry and pour in filling. Cover with top crust and bake in hot oven 450° F. for 10 minutes.reduce the temperature to 350° F and bake 35 minutes longer.
