Ingredients
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 pounds pork country-style ribs
- 1 1/2 cups v-8® vegetable juice
- 1/2 can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
Preparation
Step 1
PLACE onion rings in a crock pot. Place ribs over onions. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Reserve 1 cup for sauce; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining misture over ribs. Cover; cook on high for 5 hours or low for 10 hours.
FOR sauce, in a small saucepan heat reserved mixture to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Drain ribs, discard cooking liquid. Serve sauce with ribs.
