Baked Blackberry Custard

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Puree in blender : milk, eggs, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla. Add melted butter and blend about 30 seconds. Place the berries in a deep-dish pie plate. Pour the batter over the berries. Sprinkle the top with sugar. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes, until slightly puffed and just set in the center.
