Ingredients
- 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 onion, medium, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 14 oz. cans stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 16 oz. can pink beans, drained
- 1 16 oz. can pinto beans, drained
- 1 15 oz. can Great Northern beans, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
Step 1
BROWN sausage in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat; remove sausage, and set aside.
Discard drippings.
COOK pepper and onion in oil in Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
ADD cooked sausage, tomatoes, and remaining ingredients.
Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.
