Cherry Buttercakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 3 TBSP confectioner's sugar
  • TOPPING
  • 1 can (21 ozs.) cherry pie filling
  • Redi-Whip or Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the flour, butter and confectioner's sugar in a medium bowl with hands until smooth.
Divide dough into 6 equal parts. Shape each part into a flat round about 3" in diameter. Place rounds on ungreased baking sheet. Chill 1 hour.

Heat over to 350 degrees.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Top rounds with the pie filling and Redi-Whip or Cool Whip.

Makes 6 servings.
