Baked Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 7 oz creamettes
  • 2 T. butter
  • 3 T. flour
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt or seasoned salt
  • 2 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 c. sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 T. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni and drain. Meanwhile melt butter and whisk in flour, mustard and salt. Gradually add milk and cook until thickens slightly and bubbles. Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 cups cheese, stir until melted. Add macaroni and put in buttered casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs mixed with melted butter. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
