Ingredients

  • 2 c jasmine rice
  • 2 c coconut milk
  • 1 3/4 c water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

. Place all ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a boil over medium heat, place a lid on the pan and turn down flame to very low

. When holes appear in rice turn of heat and let rice stand with the lid on for 5 minutes, afterwards remove lid and fluff with a fork to loosen grains and allow all the steam to escape another method would be to pour rice onto a cool sheet pan and spread out with a fork for quicker results)
