Ingredients
- 1 package smoked sausage
- 8 oz pasta, cooked & drained
- 2 cups heavy cream (can use light cream if preferred)
- 2 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside (prepare pasta while cooking the sausage alfredo).
Saute sausage for 5 minutes (saute whole makes it easier to cut when cooked). Once cooked, remove from pan and cut into rounds. Return to pan.
Add cream and cajun seasoning and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3-4 minutes or until mixture beings to thicken. Stir in parmesan cheese. Add pasta and toss.
