Lynda's Noodle Kugel

Ingredients

  • 1- 8oz. pkg. broad flat noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup or 1 stick margarine melted
  • 1 large cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teas. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes (whole or crumbled)
  • cinnamon and sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the cream cheese and melted butter together in the mixer. Add egg, milk, sugar and vanilla and mix until smooth. Then add the cooked noodles to the mixture and mix with a spoon. Leave the mixture in the bowl and refrigerate overnight. Put mixture in a hot buttered 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the cornflakes on the top and cinnamon and sugar over the cornflakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Cut in squares after it has cooled.
